Ancient Green Tara Motif Tibetan Dzi Bead - Extremely Old

This dzi bead is adorned with the Green Tara Motif. The Green Tara Motif is a symbol that represents the Green Tara, a fully enlightened female Buddha. She is the actuality of compassion and wisdom. She is believed to help ferry followers across the ocean of samsara. She guides followers to enlightenment. On a more secular note, she is believed to help travelers safely complete their journeys.

This dzi bead measures 42.3 mm x 12.3 mm.  It is an old bead, estimated to be between 800 to 1200 years old.

The bead material is high quality natural agate. 

This piece is in excellent condition. There are no cracks on this bead. As with all antique dzi beads, weathering marks and minor digs are all part of the beauty.
