Antique Tibetan Round Dzi Bead featuring Double Wave Motif (110325)

This dzi bead is adorned with the Double Wave Motif.  The Wave Motif symbolizes continuity.  It is believed to bring never-ending success to its wearer.  The wave motif is sometimes interpreted as the Tiger Teeth Motif.  The two motifs are very similar.  Sometimes, they are distinguishable, yet sometimes they are difficult to tell apart.
 
This dzi bead measures 19.8 mm x 16.6 mm x 15.3 mm.  It is an old dzi, estimated to be between 200 to 400 years old.

The bead material is high quality natural agate.  

This bead is in excellent condition.  There are no cracks on the beads.  As with all antique dzi beads, weathering marks and minor digs are all part of the beauty.
