New Bow Shaped Natural Banded Agate Dzi Bead (Nat-B-10)

This bead carries no etched motif. What you see is the shape and the banding the agate arrived with — nothing added, nothing drawn on top.

It is the third bow-shaped piece in our natural banded agate range, and it has the most distinctive banding of the three. Where N-N-062126-BOW shows loosely parallel diagonal lines and N-N-062126-BOW2 shows lines radiating from the peak of the curve, this one has a sharp triangular zone at the centre of the bow: fine natural white lines converging to a point, with a lighter tan-amber tone inside the triangle against the darker chocolate-brown body. It is the clearest geometric formation of the three, right at the visual centre of the bead.

The body is a warm reddish-chocolate-brown with a matte, slightly textured finish. The two ends differ in tone — one a deep near-black brown, the other a warmer reddish-amber with a red-toned drill opening.

Natural agate dzi like this are valued for their beauty rather than for an applied symbol: the rarity of the shape and the banding the stone formed on its own. This bead is new, cut within roughly the last 20 years from genuine natural banded agate; its value lies in its natural formation and bow shape, not in age.
