Under magnification, the bloodspots on this bead don't look red — they look rust-maroon, smaller and more evenly scattered than you'd expect from the word "blood."

This Two Eye motif is built from concentric rings rather than a single closed circle — each eye reads as a ring within a ring, set against a warm tan-brown ground that carries fine speckling throughout, visible even at standard photographic distance. The two eyes are separated by vertical white bar dividers, giving the bead a compact, rhythmic structure despite its relatively small size. The form itself is a short, slightly squared barrel — rounder in profile than the shop's more elongated Two Eye pieces, with a noticeably stout diameter relative to its length.

Macro photography of the motif's lighter zone confirms genuine cinnabar inclusions: small dark reddish-maroon dots scattered across the cream field, more muted in tone and more uniformly distributed than the brighter, denser clustering seen in other bloodspot pieces in this collection. A warm golden-tan zone borders the dot field in the same macro frame, suggesting a transition area where the cream banding meets the surrounding brown ground.

One end shows a clearly visible drill hole with a small reddish-brown mineral deposit just inside the opening — consistent with natural material variation rather than damage.
