New Six Eye Dzi Bead with Bloodspots (N-062126-6E)

📷 We never retouch our photos. What you see is exactly what you will receive.

The cinnabar on this bead didn't scatter randomly — it settled along the rings themselves, tracing each eye's circular edge as if the motif had a gravity of its own.

Set against a deep dark brown ground, six closed concentric ring eyes run the length of this bead, each divided from its neighbor by vertical bar segments rendered in a cool, pale grey-blue-white — a noticeably different register from the warmer ivory motif lines seen on most of this shop's other pieces. The form is a confident elongated barrel, rounded at both ends, with a single drill hole visible at one tip showing a clean, dark opening and no surface damage.

Macro photography reveals the bead's most distinctive feature: cinnabar inclusions that don't simply scatter across the lighter zones but concentrate specifically along the architecture of the eye rings and bar dividers themselves. One macro frame shows a closed eye ring with rust-red to orange-red dots tracing its circular boundary in a dense band, the interior comparatively cleaner. Another shows dots both inside and outside a ring's edge, with a neighboring bar segment carrying its own scattered dot field. This is bloodspot distribution that follows the motif's own structure rather than spreading freely across open ground — a pattern distinct from the dual-zone bloom, the even micro-dot scatter, and the loose clustering seen in this session's three earlier bloodspot pieces.

No cracks, chips, or surface damage are visible in any of the photographs provided. Surface is glossy and consistent across all visible faces.

The Six Eye Motif

In Tibetan dzi tradition, the Six Eye motif is among the most widely recognized — closely associated with the elimination of the six root afflictions described in Buddhist teaching, and by extension with clarity, protection, and good fortune across all aspects of life. Its multiplied eye structure is often read as comprehensive vigilance, watching over the wearer from every direction.

Bloodspots — Confirmed (Tier 3)

Cinnabar (硃砂, zhūshā — mercuric sulfide) presents on this bead in a boundary-concentrated pattern: rather than scattering loosely across the lighter motif zones, the rust-red to orange-red dots cluster specifically along the circular edges of the eye rings and within the vertical bar dividers, as though the cinnabar settled into the architecture the motif itself describes. Multiple macro frames document this consistently across different sections of the bead, with the dot density visibly higher along ring boundaries than in open field areas. This is a clearer, more structured presentation than the unstructured blooms and scatters documented elsewhere in this session's pieces — never described identically, and genuinely distinct here.
