Nine Eye Motif Dzi Bead, 58.5×13.3mm, Deep Dark Brown Agate (N-122325-9E)

On this bead, the dark ground doesn't lighten at the ends. It runs the same very deep dark brown from drill hole to drill hole, and the nine cream eyes cut through it in an unbroken sequence.

This is a newly crafted Taiwan dzi, made within roughly the last twenty years from high-quality natural agate using the traditional dzi crafting technique. Unlike some pieces in this motif family, where the end caps carry a warmer or lighter tone, this bead holds its very deep dark brown uniformly across the full length, so the cream-white motif lines read with sharp contrast from every angle. The nine eye motif is etched cleanly, with stepped connecting lines giving the design its geometric rhythm.

The surface is smooth and well polished end to end, with a consistent gloss across both the ground and the cream lines. The drill channel is centred and clean at both ends. No cracks, chips, or surface damage are visible in any of the photos.
