Nine circles run the length of this bead, framed by a stepped cream line that changes direction at every turn. The ground colour shifts with it, from warm honey-brown at each end to a much darker brown-black through the centre.

This is a newly crafted Taiwan dzi, made within roughly the last twenty years from high-quality natural agate using the traditional dzi crafting technique. The lighter amber-brown at the drilled ends gives way to an almost black-brown through the middle, so the colour moves along the bead as a gradient rather than sitting as one flat ground. The nine eye motif is etched in clean cream-white, and the stepped connecting lines give the design a graphic, geometric rhythm.

The surface is smooth and well polished end to end, with an even gloss across both colour zones and the cream lines. The drill channel is centred and clean at both ends. No cracks, chips or surface damage are visible in any of the photos.
