We never retouch our photos. What you see is exactly what you will receive.
Turn this bead a quarter turn and the colour changes completely — not the motif, the ground.
Every other new dzi in this collection is built around a single ground colour that the motif contrasts against. This bead does not work that way. The ground here is a naturally banded multicolour agate — warm peach-orange, bright white, and warm-to-dark brown coexisting across the surface simultaneously — and the three eye motif sits within that multicolour field rather than on top of a single consistent ground. The result is a bead that reads differently on every face: turn it and the dominant colour shifts from peach-orange to bright white to warm brown, with the dark brown eye forms remaining consistent while the field around them transforms.
The form is a compact barrel — 26.2mm in length and 9.8mm in diameter — short and broad relative to its length, with well-rounded ends and a high-gloss surface throughout. This is the most compact new dzi bead in the collection and the only one in this session with a barrel rather than fusiform form. Both end caps are a warm medium brown, smooth and glossy, with small centred drill holes clearly visible in Images 5 and 6.
The Three Eye composition distributes one eye per face across the three main faces. Each eye is a large, horizontally elongated lens-shaped form — wider and more organic than the crisp circular rings of the new six and nine eye pieces — with a dark brown outer ring curving around a warm honey-tan interior, and a small darker pupil dot at the centre. The eye boundary is pointed at the horizontal axis rather than circular, giving each eye a more organic character. Face A (Image 2) shows the eye set against a warm peach-orange ground with the dark brown ring particularly vivid; Face B (Image 3) presents the eye against a predominantly bright white ground zone, making the dark ring-and-cream interior composition the most readable; Image 4 shows a third face where the peach-orange broadens and the white zone narrows. No two faces present the same colour relationship between eye and surrounding field.
Images 5 and 6 show the bead from each end — one end (Image 5) angled to show the eye and the warm honey-brown end cap with its glossy rounded surface; the other (Image 6) showing the dark medium-brown end cap more directly with the drill hole clearly centred. The high-gloss finish is consistent throughout all surfaces.
No cracks or chips are visible in any photograph. The surface is clean and smooth across all five images. This bead is newly crafted within the last twenty years. It is not an antique or ancient bead.
The Three Eye Motif
The Three Eye motif (三眼天珠) is associated in Tibetan tradition with the deity of wealth and fortune — Kubera or Jambhala — and through that association with the attraction of material abundance, happiness, and longevity. Three is a number of completion in Tibetan cosmology, referencing the three jewels of Buddhism (the Buddha, the Dharma, and the Sangha) as well as the three times: past, present, and future. A three eye dzi is understood to protect and support the wearer across all three dimensions of time simultaneously, ensuring that good fortune flows without interruption in any direction.

Three eyes, three faces, three completely different colour relationships — and the agate chose all of them.
