This bead is not a genuine antique. It was crafted before the year 2000 with a deliberately antique-style appearance, and it now carries over two decades of its own age — but it is not a centuries-old piece, and should not be confused for one.

Where its sibling V-FA-062126-12E-LK carried sandy-cream motif lines, this one reads warmer: the fourteen ring eyes and their connecting curves are rendered in a richer honey-gold tone against the deep black ground, a genuinely different colour register visible across all standard photographs. Fourteen closed ring eyes fill the bead's faces, connected by flowing curved lines that run without hard breaks between them — the same continuous construction tradition as the Twelve Eye piece, extended here across a longer body with two more eyes added to the count.

One face carries a particularly notable detail: one of the ring eyes is set within a larger, elaborately framed outer ring with a slightly irregular, octagonal-edged boundary rather than a clean circle — a natural variation in the etching that makes that face distinct from the others and confirms the handcrafted character of this piece.

Both ends carry the same large keyhole-style drill openings seen on V-FA-062126-12E-LK, confirming this as the second piece in what is now an established Large Keyhole sub-family within the V-FA category. The motif lines show fine granular surface texture consistent with the bead's age. No cracks or chips are visible in any of the six photographs provided.
