We never retouch our photos. What you see is exactly what you will receive.

This bead is the companion to N-082825-4E — same construction, same two-tone colour and nearly the same size, just a touch slimmer.

It is a new Taiwan dzi in natural agate, carrying the Four Eye motif in cream-white. The end caps (Images 6 and 7) are a warm dark brown, deepening inward to a dense pitch-black through the body, for a gentle gradient from end to end.

The motif pairs one eye ring with a flowing S-curve, repeated four times around the bead. Images 2 to 5 show the four rotations; turned in the hand, they link into one unbroken pattern, exactly as on its companion.

At 40.2mm × 11.0mm it matches its sibling (40.1mm × 11.4mm) almost exactly in length, with a slightly slimmer profile. The form is a standard barrel with gently tapered ends; the drill holes are clean. No cracks or chips. The two make a natural pair.

This is a new bead, made in Taiwan within roughly the last 20 years using the traditional dzi crafting technique.

The Four Eye Motif

The Four Eye dzi (四眼天珠) is believed to remove obstacles from the wearer's path, smoothing the way to success. Four is linked with stability and the four directions, and the flowing line between the eyes suggests obstacles cleared continuously along the way.
